If you’re in Levanto, Cremeria Garibaldi is a must visit! Hands down the best gelato we had during our month in Italy!! The affogato was incredible, a rich shot of espresso poured over two gelato flavours of your choice. We tried chocolate, nocciola, tiramisu and vanilla - each scoop was unbelievably creamy and the flavours were just out of this world!
I would think this could easily be the best gelato in Levanto (based on the taste and the review ratings). We tried a 4 flavor cup and each of them taste so so creamy (pistachio, hazelnut, almond and tiramisu)
Incredible gelato!!!! We loved it! Also all cones are gluten free :)

The best ice cream I’ve ever had. The chocolate flavour was so freaking gooddd!!! It’s bittersweet and rich with chocolate. Also it’s gluten free and vegan which suitable for Muslim people. TMI : one of the staff is a Muslim (i guess) so it’s more reliable. Mind you, I bought it multiple times in a day. Don’t forget to buy the chocolate flavour and strawberry popsicle and watermelon sorbet!!

Absolutely the best ice cream in Levanto. Lots of vegan choices and gluten free cones, plus delicious ice cream of the day combinations!
Wonderful fresh gelato. We highly recommend coming here during your stay. This may just be the best we had in Italy!
Now that’s what I call a true Gelateria . Special flavours created by the owner. You can tell there’s passion behind it . Basil-Passionfruit , best gelato I ever had !!!

Best ice cream in town! We are ice lovers! So we are always on the hunt for the best ice cream shop in town. On the most rainy day of our holiday we found Garibaldi. Not really a day to eat an ice cream, but we gave it a try anyway. How lucky are we that we run into this mother and daughter run place with the best ice cream of our holiday! Normally we only take 1 ice-cream together, but it was that good that we ordered even twice more. We tasted nocciola pistachio, milk chocolate, dark chocolate, fior di latte, rigotta du Varese, Figi, mango, more di bardellone and fragola. What I can say in short, they use really good ingredients and know how to make ice cream with good taste and structure. Great gelataria. Try the lemon-basil sorbet. So refreshing after a hot day hiking in the Cinque Terre.

Another very good gelato in my Italy trip 2025.
Tiny shop with delicisou ice-cream and friendly staff. We spent 3 days in Levanto and came back every. Single. One.
We didn't think it was possible but... this ice cream tops the amazing ice cream we've had in Florence. Such great prices, lovely service, and delicious flavours! Also love that they have gluten-free and vegan options, and offer some more experimental flavours. We'll be coming back!
